Vinyl Stickers & Die-Cut Decals

Vinyl stickers are the cheapest way to make an object feel like it belongs to a specific person. A laptop

lid, a water bottle, a notebook cover, a toolbox, the back of a phone — all of them are blank surfaces that

say nothing about their owner until a sticker goes on. That is the entire appeal, and it explains why

stickers sell to people who would never buy a t-shirt with the same joke printed on it. A sticker is a low

commitment. You can put it somewhere only you will see.

This page lists every die-cut vinyl sticker and decal we currently produce. Each one is printed after you

order it and posted to you as a physical item.

What a die-cut vinyl sticker actually is

The phrase gets used loosely, so it is worth being precise. A vinyl sticker is printed onto a flexible

plastic film rather than paper. That film is what makes it water-resistant, resistant to scuffing, and able

to survive being handled every day. “Die-cut” means the sticker has been cut to the outline of the design

rather than left as a rectangle, so what you peel off and apply is the shape itself, with no visible square

border around it. A “decal” is the same object described in a slightly different tradition — the words are

used interchangeably in practice.

The alternative you will see everywhere online is a printable sticker file: a PDF or PNG you print yourself

onto sticker paper. Those are genuinely useful, they cost less, and we sell them too — see our

paper is not vinyl. It smudges when wet, it scuffs, and it will not survive a water bottle. If the sticker

is going on something that gets handled or washed, buy the printed vinyl.

Who buys vinyl stickers

Students and remote workers decorating laptops, which is the single biggest use. Readers customising an

e-reader case. Plant people covering a watering can or a planter shelf. Anybody assembling a small gift and

wanting something to add for a couple of pounds. And a steady stream of people buying four or five at once,

because a single sticker on a large laptop lid looks lost and a cluster looks intentional.

Buyer’s guide: what to look for

Material, and why paper is not good enough

Ask what the sticker is printed on. Vinyl film flexes with the surface it is stuck to, tolerates being

wiped down, and does not disintegrate when it meets condensation on a bottle. Paper stickers are cheaper to

produce and fine inside a planner or a journal, but they are the wrong material for anything exposed. Every

sticker on this page is printed vinyl.

Cut quality

A good die-cut follows the artwork closely and leaves a clean edge. A cheap one leaves a thin white halo of

uncut backing around the shape, which is the thing that makes a sticker look like a freebie. Look at the

product images at full size before you buy — the edge tells you more about the manufacturer than any

description does.

Size

Sticker sizing is the mistake people make most often. A design that looks bold on screen can be four

centimetres across in reality. Before you order, measure the surface you are decorating. A laptop lid takes

a larger statement sticker plus a few smaller ones; a water bottle wraps, so the usable flat area is

narrower than you think; a phone back is small enough that only short, heavy-weight text stays legible.

Adhesive and removability

Standard sticker adhesive is designed to hold firmly and to come off a hard, non-porous surface without

tearing. It is not designed to be repositioned repeatedly, and it is not designed for painted plaster,

untreated wood or textured walls. Apply to a clean, dry, smooth surface, press from the centre outwards to

push air out, and leave it a few hours before exposing it to water.

Film thickness, laminate finish and adhesive grade vary by production partner and are confirmed on the

individual product page. We do not quote a specific micron rating here because we cannot verify it holds

across every batch.

Laptop and desk setup stickers

The laptop lid is the most public surface most people own. It gets seen in every meeting, every coffee

shop, every lecture. The stickers that work there are the ones that communicate something in one glance:

that you are a reader, that you are not a morning person, that your plants have a personality. Long text

does not survive being read from three metres away across a table.

Water bottle and travel mug decals

Bottles are the second most common destination and the most demanding. The surface curves in two

directions, it is regularly wet, and it gets knocked against things. Three practical rules: choose a

smaller design so it sits flat without wrinkling, apply it to a completely dry bottle and leave it

overnight before first use, and hand-wash rather than putting the bottle through a dishwasher. Dishwasher

heat and jets will lift the edges of any sticker eventually.

Stickers for book lovers, plant people and coffee drinkers

Our sticker range clusters around three identities, because those are the three that people are happiest to

declare on an object they carry around. Reading humour — the unread pile, the fictional emotional

investment, the “one more page” lie. Plant humour — the over-watering, the boundaries, the talking. And

How made-to-order works

Everything on this page is a physical product that does not exist until you buy it. There is no warehouse

shelf with your design sitting on it. When your order comes through, the artwork is sent to a production

partner, printed onto a blank item, quality-checked, packed and posted to your address. That is what

“print on demand” or “made to order” means, and it is worth understanding before you click buy, because it

changes what you should expect from the timeline.

The practical consequence is that there are two clocks running, not one. The first is production: the time

it takes to print, cure or press your item and get it boxed. For most printed goods this is a few business

days rather than a few hours, and it stretches during peak gifting periods when every print queue in the

industry is busy. The second clock is shipping, which depends on where you are and how customs treats the

parcel if it crosses a border. We do not publish a single delivery date here because a single date would be

a guess, and a guess dressed up as a promise is worse than no number at all. The individual product page is

where current production and delivery estimates live, and your order confirmation is where tracking appears.

Why this is different from our instant downloads

Most of the Pixquo catalogue is digital. If you buy a printable planner, a wall-art file or a sticker sheet

PDF, the file lands in your account and inbox straight away and you print it yourself. There is no

production queue, no courier and no customs form. That is the right choice when you need something tonight,

when you want to print the same page fifty times, or when you are buying for someone in a country we do not

ship to easily.

The products on this page are the opposite trade. You give up the instant gratification and you get a

finished object: a ceramic mug that survives the dishwasher, a cut vinyl decal, a poster printed on proper

stock, a shirt somebody can wear. Nothing here is emailed to you and nothing here can be downloaded. If you

are shopping close to a deadline, buy the physical item early or buy the digital equivalent instead — the

printable version is genuinely the better answer when the occasion is tomorrow.

What ordering actually looks like

  • You place the order and pay. Nothing is printed yet.
  • The design file goes to the production partner and enters the print queue.
  • Your item is printed, cured or pressed, checked and packed. This normally takes a few business days.
  • The parcel is handed to a carrier and tracking is issued.
  • Transit time depends on your destination, and on customs if the parcel crosses a border.

Because each item is produced individually, small variations between one order and the next are normal

rather than defects: the exact placement of a design can shift by a millimetre or two, and printed colour

will never match a backlit phone screen precisely. What should never vary is the legibility of the artwork,

the finish of the item or the build quality. If something arrives damaged, misprinted or genuinely wrong,

Frequently asked questions

Are these stickers waterproof?

They are printed on vinyl film, which is water-resistant and handles condensation, rain and being wiped

down. That is not the same as being dishwasher-proof. Hand-wash any bottle or container you have applied a

sticker to, and keep it out of the dishwasher’s heat and jets.

How long do they last on a laptop?

On a clean, smooth laptop lid, indefinitely under normal use. What shortens a sticker’s life is repeated

peeling, abrasive cleaning products, or applying it to a dusty or oily surface in the first place. Wipe the

surface with alcohol and let it dry fully before you apply.

Can I remove a sticker without damaging the surface?

On hard, non-porous surfaces like a laptop shell, a bottle or a window, yes — warm the sticker gently and

peel slowly from a corner, and clean off any adhesive residue with alcohol. On painted walls, untreated

wood or textured surfaces, no. These are not wall decals and should not be used as them.

What size will I receive?

It varies by design. Dimensions are listed on each product page, and you should check them against the

surface you are decorating before ordering — screen size is not a reliable guide to physical size.

Is this an instant download?

No. These are physical vinyl stickers, printed after you order and posted to you. If you want a file to

print yourself, our printable sticker range is the

instant-download equivalent.

Can I put these on a car?

We do not recommend it. These are indoor and everyday-carry stickers designed for laptops, bottles,

notebooks and cases. Vehicle exteriors need UV-stable outdoor-rated vinyl and a stronger laminate, which is

a different product.
